Labels and Symbols

Following labels and symbols are used to identify different parts and processes of the device. User is advised to read these symbols carefully.

	Equipment Class This symbol indicates Type B applied part according to the degree of protection against electric shock. IEC 60417-5840 Type B Applied Part
	WEEE Disposal Indicate that separate collection for waste electric and electronic equipment (WEEE) is required. ISO 60417-6414
	Manufactured By This symbol identifies the medical device manufacturer, as defined in EU Directive 93/42/EEC. ISO 15223-1, ISO 7000-3082
	Catalogue Number This symbol indicates the manufacturer’s catalogue number so that the medical device can be identified. This symbol may be shown without the enclosure. ISO 15223-1, ISO 7000-2493
	Serial Number This symbol indicates the manufacturer’s serial number so that a specific medical device can be identified. This symbol may be shown without the enclosure. ISO 15223-1, ISO 7000-2498
	Refer to Instructions This symbol indicates that user needs to read the operating instructions first, before operating the device. IEC 60601-1, ISO 7010-M002
